Your Questions Answered

Q. Does the stationery order have to be ordered altogether or can you order items seperately?
(Melanie R, Hampton, Middlesex)

A. You may order each item of stationery seperately. It is quite normal for our customers to order Invites, months in advance of the other set items. Providing the total order is £20.00 or above, you will still be eligible for free delivery.

Q. How can I be sure that there will be no mistakes on my stationery?
(Lesley Ann M, Gourock, Inverclyde)

A. When you have decided to order, we will gather your details and generate a printed order form, which will show the exact wording as it will appear on the stationery. These will be sent to you for checking. Your order will only be placed with the printers when you have signed to say you are happy with the wording.

Q. What happens if there is a mistake on my stationery?
(Lesley Ann M, Gourock, Inverclyde)

A. Any mistakes due to the negligence of Eternally Yours or on the part of the stationery company, and your order will be reprinted immediately as a priority. All we ask is that you thoroughly check the spelling, punctuation etc on the order forms. Provided this is done, you are fully covered.

Q. How long will my order take to come?
(Katrina D, Dunfermline, Fife)

A. Normally between 3 and 6 weeks, depending on the time of year and the urgency of the order. The printers will generally prioritise orders in terms of the date of the wedding. There is also a Wedding Speed service which guarantees a 24hr turnaround for the charge of £50.

Q. How much do proofs cost?
(Julianna H, Weymouth, Dorset)

A. Email proofs are free of charge. Orders of Service Proofs and stationery items where the order is over 100 are also free of charge. Otherwise it costs £5 per set item. We strongly suggest that you use the proofing service.

Q. Can stationery be supplied blank should I want to print my own, and is there any discount for doing so?
(Sanda D, Guernsey, Channel Islands)

A. Most designs of stationery which feature paper inserts can be supplied blank for an extra 10% off the RRP. Collisons will also supply flatpacked blank inserts as standard with this type of order. For CCA orders the stationery is supplied with no inserts. ie you will have to cut your own to size.

Q. How do I word a Menu Card?
(Sharon L, Swinton)

A. Generally the Menu Card comes in a 3 page format. The first page contains details of the wedding, the second contains the toasts and the third of course what is on the menu. It is best to consult the venue/ caterers at the time of ordering to ensure the menu is correct. We can supply you with a standard menu wording at the time for use as guidance.
